streaming platform

Let me paint a picture for you…

You just heard about a cool new show at work and you just can’t wait to go back home and watch it. You make it home, microwave up some popcorn, and make yourself comfortable to watch the show you’ve been waiting to watch all day.

As soon as you search for that particular show on your favorite streaming platform, all you see is some error message like this:

“This title is not available”

Can you just imagine how frustrating that would be? Sadly, this can happen to anyone.

Even though we pay so much money for streaming services like Netflix, we often find ourselves not being able to watch some shows or movies. As a result, we often subscribe to more than one streaming service to fill the void.

We all know how expensive that can be…

When there are so many streaming platforms out there, figuring out where you can find that one specific show that you’ve been dying to stream can be nothing short of a challenge.

Luckily, there are tools that can make your life a whole lot easier. To help you find the perfect streaming service with all the shows and movies that you’d like to stream, I’ve come up with a list of four (4) tools that’ll help you figure out which is the best streaming platform for you.

1. Finder

Finder

Finder.com is an amazing tool that instantly shows you the complete list of movies and shows any streaming service has to offer.

For example, If I want to know what shows are available on Hulu, I can do that on Finder.com for free. I wouldn’t have to subscribe to Hulu and then go through its content library or purchase a VPN subscription only to find out later on that the show I wanted to watch isn’t available on Hulu, to begin with.

This will save you so much time and effort. Because let’s face it, if you’re able to find the show that you were looking for beforehand, you can then subscribe to a VPN that works with Hulu and stream your favorite shows from anywhere in the world.

The cool thing about Finder.com is that it gets updated regularly. The user interface of the website is also quite clean which makes it very easy to navigate through the site. Also, with the help of handy filters, you can search for content based on Title, Year of release, and Genre.

2. Reelgood

Reelgood

Over time, content libraries change. For instance, a show that might be available today on Netflix, might become unavailable or get replaced due to a number of reasons. Staying updated with the current list of shows or movies can be a super hectic task.

This is where Reelgood comes in. Reelgood is a one-stop destination covering an updated list of all the content offered by over 150 services, including Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney+, Prime Video, and more.

You can search for any show and Reelgood will tell you exactly which streaming platform is offering it. For instance, if you search for Rick and Morty, Reelgood will show this result:

One of the coolest things about Reelgood is that it has a separate tab called New, Coming, Leaving. This tab basically lets you know what’s new, what’s about to come, and what content is going to be removed. I also really love the filters option offered by Reelgood which lets you sort stuff through genre, content score, and release date.

3. Justwatch

Justwatch

Next up, we have JustWatch. This tool is super cool in the sense that it not only helps you figure which streaming service is airing the show you wish to watch, but it also helps you decide which shows or movies you should start watching next.

By default, you’ll be able to search for shows available on Netflix and Prime Video, but if you click on the plus icon, you’ll be able to search for any content available across a ton of streaming services and channels.

Justwatch2

By simply clicking on any title, you’ll be able to learn which streaming service is currently airing it and in which country. JustWatch also tells you the picture quality (SD, HD, 4K) in which the content is available.

And just like other tools I’ve mentioned so far, JustWatch lets you use various filers such as release year, genre, price, ratings, and age rating.

4. Untangle

Untangle

Lastly, we have Untangle. This tool not only helps you find where your favorite show is airing, but it also helps you save money on streaming services by intelligently suggesting which streaming service you can subscribe to to cut down the cost of your monthly streaming subscriptions.

When you first visit Untangle, the website asks for your zip code along with your monthly TV bill and a few other questions.

The reason why Untangle asks you for this information is that it uses it to recommend the most optimal streaming service airing the show you wish to watch.

Based on the money you spend each month, Untangle also tells you how much money you’ll save each month which I think is really cool. For instance, when I searched for Game of Thrones, Untangled not only showed me where I can watch it, but it also showed me how much money I’ll be saving each month.

Overall, Untangle is a great tool to have and I can’t recommend it enough to you guys.

So what are you waiting for? Start using the tools mentioned in this blog and enjoy amazing content without wasting any of your precious time.
